Our company have partnered with Tsinghua University to conduct a research of plateau electrical equipment under 550kV, and to carry out training and online education for electric operator, maintenance personnel, and production manager, to establish training base, and to develop an internet-based comprehensive monitoring and management system for hydropower stations, and to develop a rural small scaled hydropower monitoring and management system.

The Plateau Electric Power Testing and Research Center is invested and constructed by Tibet Huadong Hydropower Equipment Co., Ltd. (Tibet Eastern China Hydropower Equipment Co. Ltd )This project is the only comprehensive research center of instrument testing, online education, remote monitoring of plateau power stations, digitization and sharing network of power information, data storage distribution, large data analysis, high-tech design and development platform for plateau turbines, application research of the Internet and micro-grid technology in the plateau areas, and a high-tech, eco-friendly entrepreneurial park which provides services and technical support for the Tibet power industry.

The rural small scaled hydropower monitoring and management system is based on wireless automatic identification technology, intelligent sensing technology, adaptive communication technology, and smart devices to realize remote monitoring, and maintenance of hydropower station, and to achieve advanced functions such as WEB and ONCALL. This system can connect all the rural small hydropower stations and achieve real-time monitoring of discharge data and operation status.

The goal of the center is to achieve real-time remote measurement and control of the power station, tracking various data online, timely detecting malfunctions, and remotely mobilizing various resources for repairing, and to establish connections between various data centers such as hydrology, meteorology, and geology information centers. Gradually realize the sharing of data resources with water administrative agencies, water resources management agencies, flood control and flood forecast departments, and soil and water conservation agencies.
